Mission Statement
Our vision of our school is of a safe and happy place where the wellbeing of each child is nurtured and valued in a supportive and caring environment.
Together with the Board of Management, parents and the parish community, we provide Religious Education for the pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practices and the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church.
Our school strives to nurture each child in all dimensions of his or her life- spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic, social and physical so that he or she may realise his or her potential as unique individuals.
We aim to instil a love of learning that will remain with the child through life and that will express itself in an enquiring mind and a heightened curiosity.
We cherish and foster positive, cooperative relationships between teachers, staff, pupils, parents and the wider community.
We value and encourage good parental communication and involvement, based on mutual trust and understanding.
In accordance with the Children’s Act 2015 and the Revised National Guidelines 2017 on Child Protection, we also aim to ensure the welfare and protection of our pupils in co-operation with Tusla and the Gardai.
As a Green School, we encourage a sense of personal pride and responsibility among our pupils in tackling the issue of litter and waste in our school grounds and in the local community.
