Amber Day Competition

As part of Amber Day all pupils took part in a poster and slogan competition. The Senior class were asked to come up with a slogan promoting mental health which we could then adopt as our school’s Amber Code. As part of their entry they were asked to design a poster to accompany the slogan. There were some beautiful entries with Amy coming out the eventual winner with her entry ‘Follow your own Path’.
The Junior class were given the task of designing a poster based on the book ‘Look who’s here’. They were asked to think about feelings bringing messages to people and had some great ideas for their feeling characters. The winner of this category was chosen by the student council and after some serious consideration they chose Emily’s beautiful, bright picture. They also highlighted Emmet’s entry as he came up with a lovely slogan of his own.
