During the Month of May, the pupils in the Senior Classroom explored the genre of Persuasive Writing. Their final task was to write a letter persuading prospective pupils and parents to come to Scoil Naomh Treasa. Have a look at their fantastic work!

Dear Parents,
We would like your children to come to our school. It is the best school in Ireland for a number of reasons.
Firstly, we have a website so you can see what we do in our group work and other things.
Secondly, the school is small so you can get to know everyone and make friends easily.
Thirdly, we have Christmas plays every December and we get our own parts in the play. We get scripts to learn every night.

Dear Chloe,
I am writing to you because I would like to give you reasons why you should go to Scoil Naomh Treasa.
Firstly, you should go to Scoil Naomh Treasa because it’s small so everybody knows each other. Also, we have cool school tours.We sing on the bus. We also have Christmas plays everyone has a part in the play .We invite all the parents and it’s so much fun, we all get in the Christmas mood.
Secondly, we are getting an Amber Flag and we are going to have Pizza, Zumba and other fun activities. We also do Rugby, Gaelic and The daily mile. We are a very positive school.
Thirdly, we have a website. We also have cool visitors including The army, The guards and the fire fighters. We have lots of space in our school. Every so often 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th have tea and sweets. Every day we get our lunches from Bradbury’s.
