Senior Class Debates

The pupils in the Senior Room treated the whole school to some very interesting and entertaining debates on Friday, the 31st of May 2019. The debates coincided with the work that we are currently doing on the Persuasive Writing Genre.

The 5th & 6th class girls took on the 5th and 6th class boys. They debated the following topics:

1. Should pets be allowed in schools?

2. Computers should replace teachers.

3. Friends should always keep secrets.

The 3rd and 4th class were also broken into two groups! They debated:

1. Schools should only open four days a week.

2. Children should be allowed a TV in their bedroom.
